Demons aiming to retain Title

Posted by admin on Sep 08, 2009 - 06:19 PM

The Dublin Demons will be aiming to retain their hard won premiership title when they take on the South Dublin Swans in the 2009 Grand Final this Saturday!! The match will take place in St Davids National School in Artane and the match is due to begin at 2pm. Last year the Demons ended seven years of waiting to take the premiership title and after such a long wait are determined to prove it wasn't a one-off!! The demons started the defence of their premiership crown in the best possible way by winning the minor premiership last month and by doing so secured their place in the Saturdays showpiece final.

The Swans finished second and had to see off a stubborn tigers team to make the final. The Demons will be hoping to emulate their round 1 victory over the Swans and secure their first silverware of the season. The Swans have already beaten the Demons this year in round 6 of the premiership. The Demons were badly short of players that day and will be eager to exact some revenge for that humiliating defeat.

We want all our supporters present to cheer us on and hopefully seee us win our fourth premiership crown!
