South Dublin Swans 08.10 (58) vrs Dublin Demons 04.08 (32)
The first quarter was played with a strong breeze behind the Demons, but they were unable to use it to their full advantage. Kicking was astray in front of goal and only 1 major was scored for the first quarter. However a plus was keeping the Swans to a couple of minor scores.
The second quarter started badly for the Demons. Within a minute of the kick off, the Swans burst through the center and scored a goal. Not the start the Demons were looking for. Kicking into the breeze and into the infrequent sun was proving a tall order for the Demons. But for tireless work from the mid field and back line, the scores could have been a lot worse at the long break.
